about the Hamilton Winter Gaidhealtachd Feis 1999

Organised & Sponsored by Mitchell Kilt Hire

and supported by Clan MacLachlan Society of New Zealand

Slainte!

The Gaidhealtachd was held to foster the Celtic cultural activities that are part of the NZ lifestyle. People from the Waikato/Bay of Plenty/Auckland regions and as far away as Wellington attended. The weekend was a sound success. We modified the format for a successful Cambridge Tartan Day 2000 (July 1st).

Below are photographs illustrating some of the activities at the Gaidhealtachd Feis held near Hamilton, New Zealand, in June 1999. (Fri/Sat/Sun)
